Rest in Peace

In about twenty minutes, I will load up my CR-V with my pals from work, and we will head out.

He died. Today's the funeral.

I wrote an article about him for my last newspaper column. His wife emailed to say he was touched. I am so grateful I was able to tell this man in some way what he meant to me.

Try to be kind to those around you today...you truly never know when your last conversation will be. Annoying co-worker? Look them in the eye and listen to them today. Complaining friend? Give them your attention. Nagging relative? Be grateful they care.

Appreciate life. Appreciate today.
