Timeline

Thanks, Aisha! Feel free to do this on your own blogs; this is a meme I hadn't completed before.

25 years ago: I was a little baby! I don't remember a thing. I was a very cute baby, although I was not nice at all to strangers. I've still got a pretty good combo of cute/mean going today. :)

15 years ago: I was 10. That would make me a 5th grader, and Mrs. Rochelle was my teacher. Girls started being mean. I made best friends with one of the new girls at school who turned out to be mean when I went to a private school.

10 years ago: I was 15. I was a sophomore in high school and finally had good girlfriends! High school is such a time of insecurity and coming into your own, but I was really fortunate to go to a good school with good people.

5 years ago: I was 20. I was finishing up college, and I was trying to figure out who the hell I was. It took me about 4 years to figure it out! I was very busy with school, working and extracurricular activities. I desperately wanted to be in love.

3 years ago: I was 22. I lived in Washington, DC and worked on Capitol Hill. I learned so much about myself from this experience, but I wouldn't relive it for all the money in the world.

1 year ago: I was 24. I had been married for just a few months and was adjusting to that. I had a part-time job I hated, but the one I have would be offered to me shortly.

This year: FINALLY. That's the best word to describe it - finally. This has been a good year. I'm happy, I'm employed, I'm in graduate school...things are finally falling into place.

Yesterday: It was insanely busy. I had night class after a long and busy day at work. I watched "Dark Water," and didn't even have trouble sleeping or anything. I get traumatized very easily from movies, so this one must not be scary at all.

Today: I read a bunch of stuff for my Fundraising in Non-Profits class. I'll do some housecleaning over lunch, go to the gym and try to relax tonight.

Tomorrow: I'll probably read a bunch more stuff for class and get ready for my parents to come visit this weekend. Mostly, though, I'll just be so happy that it will be Friday, and I'll have a three-day weekend in store!
