Need Good Karma
Lots of stuff majorly sucks right now.OK, and by lots, I really just mean one thing. But being the obsessive person that I am, it is driving me crazy. Please send good thoughts and hugs my way!

Happy and Sneezy
We did it again! UGA has beat Auburn and the game was AMAZING! The game was a Blackout, as requested by the Seniors. The stadium looked amazing with everyone in black -- of course, this gave me an excuse to buy something new as well.
And an added benefit of being at the game was that I could breathe. What do I mean? See below.
Before and after the game, I have been nothing but sneezy. Sometimes I become so allergic to my cat. I love Matty dearly and would LOVE some suggestions on how to deal! I already take allergy medicine and change my clothes after holding him. I don't know what else to do! Giving my baby away is not an option. :)

Facts of Life
What a week. Here's the bad stuff:
Thousands of dollars of fraudulent charges on my credit card
Waiting, waiting, waiting
Eating too many cookies
Running my mouth
Crazy PMS
Here's the good stuff:
New fabulous outfit from Kohl's - including a size smaller in pants! Woo hoo!
Being a grown-up and standing up for myself
Having a great hair week
Eating too many cookies
Making all the phone calls that I needed to make and catching up with old friends
Relaxing last night with Bert
Food, water, shelter, love, etc. etc. (although the water thing is a little scary with our drought)
And so, the good definitely outweighs the bad. Here's to a fantastic, hopefully all good, weekend!

The Best Moments
Last night at dinner, my friend Misha told me to clear my mind and tell her the happiest moment of my life - the first happy moment that popped into my mind. I tried to clear my mind into a blank slate and the first thought that came to me was the moment Bert and I got married and the song "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds was playing at the ceremony. After that, the next memory that popped into my head is when after a heavy rain, there would be a small hole in our yard growing up that would fill with water. My sister, Sara, and I would take our Barbies outside and pretend it was a swimming pool for Barbies.
And so, when I went to lay down last night, I tried it again.
I thought first about the night Bert and I stayed up for hours laughing about the 1980's. We were being silly and remembering all sorts of funny things.
And then I remembered sitting in our backyard playhouse with my sister having meetings. What a simple time.
So to Bert and Sara, thank you for giving me some of the happiest moments of my life.
